This was a new construction that we began working on at the blue print stage. We chose all hard surfaces including flooring, countertops and backsplashes, faux finishes, wall color, light fixtures, furniture and accessories as well as designed all cabinetry in kitchen and baths. As always we incorporated as many existing furnishings as we could. Bedding, window coverings and some furniture pieces were custom ordered to enhance and complement the spaces. With a beautiful lake view we used window coverings sparingly and went with shutters when necessary. The client wanted a warm, inviting Tuscan inspired interior with a few rooms a little more contemporary for their children and guests. We did all of the floral arrangements throughout the house as well as some of the artwork. Since it was a new construction we were not able to do the faux finishes ourselves but worked closely with the builders faux finishers to get everything just right.
