The Lord wants to spend time with you in the garden of your heart, in the secret place. He wants to meet with you so that you experience His presence and feel safe and protected from the world. He wants it to be magical, like when you were a child and found a secret hiding place, something just for the two of you. He doesn’t just want you to visit from time to time, He wants you to live there. To be open and honest with Him in this place so that you connect on a deep, intimate level. It is from this place of intimacy that He wants you to overcome the daily trials and challenges you face.
