The love of Jesus causes our souls to rest. When we connect with Him and keep our focus on Him, we are able to stay in a place of peace despite the circumstances surrounding us. There is no better place to be.

​The Hebrew word for “still” is raphah and it means to relax, wait or let go. We need to “let go” of trying to control our life or the people around us (because frankly that’s exhausting) and rest in the knowledge that our heavenly father is in control.

​He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIV
