"Released"

The Lord wants us to be released from the things that have held us captive and kept us from walking in the fullness of who He created us to be. While the last year was difficult and challenging it was also the key to our freedom. People and things that had held our attention were removed. Coping mechanisms we had used in the past were no longer available to us. We’ve had to press into the Lord and rely on Him in a new way. With this new freedom you will be able to partner with the Lord in a way you weren’t able to before. You will be stretched out of your comfort zone, but you are ready. You may be tempted to go back to a place that is familiar to you but fight that urge. Be bold, be brave as you move with the Lord.
“The spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair…”Isaiah 61:1-3
