"Promises"
We can lean into and rest in the promises of God, because He is faithful and trustworthy. He promises to never leave us or forsake us, to love us, to protect us, to be our strength, to provide for us, to answer us and to give us peace. These are promises for every believer. He has also given us promises that are specific to us, things He has spoken directly to our spirits, things in our hearts that He says will come to pass. Don’t get discouraged in the waiting, because this is a period of training and preparation. The enemy has tried to shut you down, but the Lord will have the last word. Do not give up, do not give in, keep pressing into the Lord. Always remember we serve a God of “more than we can ask, think or imagine”.
“So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps His promises”. Heb 10:23 TPT
The olive branch is significant because it is mentioned frequently in the bible in the context of blessings, fruitfulness and health. The ancient Greeks believed it represented purity and victory. It is also a symbol of peace and signals the end of a conflict. God sent a dove with an olive branch to Noah to show the floodwaters had receded and promised to never send another flood.
