"My Inheritance"

This was a commissioned piece for a client who had just lost their father. They wanted a painting for the memorial service. An oak tree resonated with them because he always seemed larger than life and so solid. We chose the colors together to complement her home. I asked her what character qualities did their father instill in them and we added those to the branches. It was such an honor to create this painting for the family.
