Halfway through this painting I was reminded of the verse “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters, the God of Glory thunders, the Lord over many waters” Psalm 29:3. When I finished the piece I wasn’t quite happy and thought it was meant for another time but that same day Psalm 19:1 popped up on my phone “The heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands”. It was just the push I needed to keep going until the painting was ready.
