The Lord reminded me of the fierce, compassionate love and protection of a parent for their child. There is nothing quite like it! That is the kind of love that He has for us, the kind we can depend on and lean into. His love holds us close and tenderly, as He nurtures us with great care and kindness. His love is not fickle like a friends, but steadfast and certain.
