"Calling the Prodigals Home"

"Calling the Prodigals Home"

Partnering with the Lord to call the prodigals home is a sacred assignment. It is the presence of the Lord that calls His children home and melts the mountains like wax. It may be the mountain of rebellion, unbelief, sin, addiction, current culture, peer pressure, bitterness or something else that is blinding them to His truth and keeping them from stepping fully into His kingdom. Ask the Lord to reach through the veil and deposit His truth directly into their spirit. Call on His presence and partner with Him to call them home and watch what He does!
“The mountains melted like wax in the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. The heavens declare his righteousness and all the peoples see his glory and brilliance” . Psalm 97:5 AMP
“Arise! Cry out in the night at the beginning of the watches! Pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the life of your children who faint from hunger at the head of every street”. Lamentations 2:19 TLV
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of the deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me”. Psalm 18:16-19 NIV

As I was creating this painting the Lord had me worshiping to the song “Don’t You Give Up On Me” by Brandon Lake. I feel like that is what He is saying to His prodigals. “Don’t you give up on my child, we’re just getting started. I’ve got more dreams, I’ve got more plans, I’ve got more blessings”.

I see you child, though you can’t see me
And I know your thoughts, before you even think
I heard every last prayer you prayed, though you I answered all the time
You just didn’t hear my reply and I know it’s not easy
Don’t you give up on me, don’t you give up on me
Cause the darker the night gets, the brighter the light hits
Don’t you give up on me, don’t you give up on me
You ain’t seen what I promised, child we’re just getting started
There is so much more
I’ll be your way, when there’s no way out
And I’ll be your strength, when your strength runs out
And if you walk into the fire, I’ll be right there in the flames
I wouldn’t have it any other way, cause loving you is easy
Don’t you give up on me, don’t you give up on me
Cause when the night’s at it’s darkest, that’s when the light his the hardest
Don’t you give up on me, don’t you give up on me
You ain’t seen what I promised, child we’re just getting started
Open your heart, open your hands, open your eyelids
I’ve got more dreams, I’ve got more plans, I’ve got more blessings
Don’t lose your hope, don’t lose your faith, that’s where you fight is
I’ve got more dreams, I’ve got more plans, I’ve got more blessings
There is so much more
